I'm not a builder. Will I be able to understand the report?
+
Absolutely — that's the whole point. Every finding in your report is written in plain English, not technical jargon. We tell you what the issue is, which page of your drawings it appears on, and exactly what to ask your architect or contractor to fix. You won't need to understand blueprints to benefit from this review.
My architect already reviewed the plans. Why do I need this?
+
Architects are talented professionals, but they work under time pressure and are human. Drawing errors and oversights are common even in plans from experienced firms. Our review provides an independent second set of eyes — the same reason you'd have a real estate attorney review a contract your agent prepared. The cost of a missed issue during construction is almost always far greater than the cost of this review.
What exactly do I need to upload?
+
Upload the PDF drawings you received from your designer or architect. This typically includes floor plans, elevations, a site plan, and sometimes structural or electrical drawings. If you're not sure what to upload, just send the full PDF drawing package your designer gave you and we'll review what's there and note if important pages appear to be missing.
What if my plans aren't finished yet?
+
You can submit plans at any stage of design — in fact, earlier is often better. It's far cheaper to make changes during the design phase than after construction starts. Just mention in the notes field that your drawings are still in progress, and we'll note in your report what we're looking at and flag what may still need to be added.
How do I choose which pricing tier is right for me?
+
Base it on the total sheet count in the PDF set you upload. Up to 20 sheets → $99. 21–35 sheets → $149. 36–50 sheets → $199. We automatically count the sheets on the order page and show your price before you pay. If your set is unusually large or complex, contact us before ordering.
Does this replace the city's plan review process?
+
No — our review is a pre-submission tool to help you find and fix problems before you submit to the building department. The official city review is still required to get a permit, and we can't guarantee permit approval. What we can do is significantly reduce the chances of your plans being sent back for corrections — saving you time and money.
Is my information and my home's plans kept private?
+
Yes. Your drawings and personal information are used only to perform your review. We never share your files with any third parties. All uploaded files are permanently deleted from our systems 90 days after your report is delivered. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your card number.
